This time tomorrow night we will be on our way to Vancouver and off to the SeaWheeze!
I’m super excited for two reasons:
1. This is my first race since my last half-marathon at the Bluenose Marathon back in May.
2. This is my first girls-only weekend in what feels like way too long.
My bags (ok, so just my running bag right now) are packed.
And I am ready to represent Team Fox out on the course – tail and ears included.
Stephanie, Senior Associate Director at Team Fox, and Team Fox Mentor Matt Mitchell are also running so there will be a lot of Team Fox members out on the course – and it will be great to connect with Stephanie again and to meet Matt.
If you’re at the SeaWheeze this weekend and you see a couple of gals wearing fox tails please say hello!
My goal for the race is to get a new PR. I’ve got a plan and I’m ready to see what I can do over 13.1 miles or 21.1 K.
Let’s do this!
